I'm not sure why people are giving bad reviews..but they are old reviews. The food is pretty good. I ordered Mongolian Beef and Shrimp Lo Mein and it came out great. Plenty of shrimp and the veggies were fresh. I didn't find the meat stringy. It was decent The teenager at the cashier counter doesn't have the most pleasant customer service attitude, but he wasn't rude either. Just looked bored and forced to be there by family. Lol can't blame him. They have party trays that are pretty reasonable in price. Picture posted.

Just so there's NO misunderstanding about whether or not this is an "old" review, today is Saturday, September 19th, 2015. I had hoped for a higher quality and tastier fare than what was offered by this restaurant. I've ordered more than a few items from their kitchen, each time hoping to finally find the dish they're good at! I think I'm over that fruitless mission. I went home with an over priced order of bourbon chicken thinking this place has GOT to be better than the food court places at the Mall, right? (Eyes clinched shut, head wagging, fists balled tightly near my face as if to battle the onslaught of a migraine) OH MY GOSH, was I wrong!!! It was horrible! The greasy lo mein noodles I was charged $1.50 more for tasted like the sad salvages of a pot that was left to burn on the stove for a half an hour. The heavily dyed red, dry chicken had nearly NO flavor even after trying to coat each bite with the stuff resembling sauce, which had less flavor than the chicken. I don't even understand how that's possible but, Magic Wok managed to pull it off. An egg roll and 3 sprigs of broccoli were the ONLY things from this order not worth chucking into the garbage. So, if you have a taste for bourbon chicken and you only have the mall and Magic Wok to choose from... run, don't walk, RUN in the direction of the food court!

The service was totally fine (I was acknowledged and helped promptly), but I'm vegan so I ordered Szechuan bean curd and it was terrible. First time I've thrown food away for a while. Szechuan tofu is supposed to have the same texture of chicken, but it was soft tofu cubes. The worst part was the sauce. This restaurant should not be in business with sauce like that. It was very gross. Hard to describe the exact flavor, but it wasn't savory...it was barely edible.

Most of the other reviews were really ridiculous... Decent people and decent food. Nothing more nothing less. There is definitely better Chinese food out there.

I went into this place and said hello, the woman just stared at me, I said hello again and she did not say a word. I ordered steamed dumplings and a combination plate. Let me say that I went shopping next door and then came back to pick up my food and the woman (obviously the owner) just pointed at the bag of my food. I picked up the bag and said thank you, she did not say anything back, I said thank you again and she would not look at me. She started handling money from the register and then I said thank you one more time and she just turned around without washing her hands and started preparing food. I had to say "You're Welcome" to myself. These people are in the hospitality biz and there is only rudeness, not a bit of hospitality to be heard. I figured maybe these ignorant Asians cook good food and the food would make up for their rudeness. I got home and opened the bag and there was no condiments, soy sauce ect. The steamed dumplings were the worse things I have ever eaten in my 51 years on this planet and the combination plate was even worse. The eggroll tasted like it was cooked in rancid oil that should have been discarded a week before, the fried rice was not fried rice at all but it was tasteless, overcooked with tasteless frozen diced veggies, the broccoli florettes were not even cooked and borderline raw, I bit into the chicken and almost broke my tooth from the bone that was left in it and to make matter worse after that I came upon two very long black hairs in my food, obviously from the rude woman who works there. All in all I think these people need to go back to the country they came from and serve the swill they call food to them. Avoid this place like the plague because you just might get the plague eating their food. If they are this rude to their customers who keep them in business imagine how they treat the food/swill they are serving you. This was my first visit and my last. A little common courtesy goes a long way especially if you want repeat business. I don't know how they stay in business with such a rude attitude and horrible inedible food. They are an insult to all the hard working immigrants who come to this country. AVOID AT ALL COSTS EVEN IF YOU ARE STARVING TO DEATH. IT IS BETTER TO DIE OF STARVATION THAN EAT THEIR SWILL. They do not do well with their health inspections as you can see here. city-data.com/fl-restaur…

BUYER BEWARE - Don't waste your time or money. Was there for take-out lunch today with my family. The kid behind the counter is uber rude and the food was horrible. No honey on the "Honey Chicken", crab rangoons were dripping oil and soggy and the "pork fried rice" that comes with the lunch special had no pork - it looked more like yellow rice with peas and carrots. What a terrible experience. All three platters & the appetizer ended up in the garbage, a complete waste of $20.00. Will NEVER go there again and don't recommend that you do either, unless you're prepared to deal with awful customer service, rudness and very bad food!

Young male behind counter was unprofessional. Never greeted me and when my order was done, the sauce was dark like it was burnt and had no flavor to it what so ever. Never again will I eat at this establishment

Decent prices but the customer service I received from the kid working behind the cash register was horrible. I had a pint-sized order of the curry chicken (with rice) which is about the same amount that you get with a lunch special, though curry chicken isn't listed as a lunch special item. I've had better curry chicken.

As a California transplant, there are certain cuisines I'm looking to find in Fort Myers to sustain my survival. Cheap Chinese food is a priority, and I was successful in my search when I stumbled across Magic Wok. The cashier was a very nice woman, who did not speak a lot of English. I found this promising. I ordered 1 egg roll ($1.20), 1 shrimp egg roll ($1.25), roast pork fried rice, and chicken w/ mixed vegetables (Total ~$11). Over a dollar for one egg roll you say?!?! These are fatty egg rolls! They're more like smallish fried burritos than typical egg rolls. Most dishes come in two size choices small or large. The language barrier came when I asked if the egg roll had pork and the cashier nodded. Low and behold my disappointment when I came home and found that it was veggie. Otherwise, everything was tasty and not overly salty. In particular, the white rice, which accompanied the chicken, was cooked to perfection and not Uncle Ben's. The prices for all the items looked reasonable, and I will definitely be back. Ooo, I almost forgot to mention that this joint has lunch specials! I love me a good special.
